On the first day of this trip, you will arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station from Guwahati and drive to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast will proceed to kaziranga , visit Kaziranga National Park in the early morning. Then, you will proceed for an elephant safari from Morning: 05:30 - 06:30 /Morning: 06:30 - 07:30, Morning Jeep Safari: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Afternoon Jeep Safari: 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM nd after that drive to Shillong if time permits visit Umium Lake, Overnight Stay at Shillong.
After Breakfast trek, Double Deck Bridge (3 hours trek), Rainbow waterfall, churches, local markets, and shops Stay at Cherrapunjee.
Finally, you will return for the overnight stay at Cherrapunjee .
Get ready to be charmed by the unique natural beauty of Meghalaya on the 4th day of your trip. After breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Cherrapunji. On way, you will stop at Elephant Falls and Mawdak valley. After a dose of breathtaking views, you will resume your drive to reach Cherrapunji to see Seven Sister’s Falls and Wah Kaba Falls. Kynrem falls, Garden Of Caves Post lunch, you will visit Arwah Cave and Mawsmai Cave, followed by check- in and overnight stay at the hotel.
On the 5th day of your trip, you will leave for Dawki & Mawlynnong after breakfast. Dawki is a small town on the border of India and Bangladesh. Here, you will see the famous suspension bridge over the Umngot river. You are bound to be amazed at the cleanliness of this river and if you choose to go for a boat ride, you will easily be able to see the bottom of the river through its crystal clear water. Your next destination will be Asia’s cleanest village- Mawlynnong where you can take a stroll and be inspired by the lifestyle of the locals. you will visit Riwai village and witness the grandeur of Single Decker Living Root Bridge. Finally, you will return for the overnight stay at Dawki/ Shnongpdeng.
Early morning after breakfast process to Juwai. Visit KrangSuri waterfall, Tryshi waterfall, and Phe Phe fall Grand Laitlum Canyon Valley. Then drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast on the 7th day of the trip, you will drive to Mawsynram. Here, you will visit prominent tourist places like Mawsynram cave. Of special mention is the naturally formed Shiva Linga here that attracts a large number ofdevotees and curious travelers here. Then you will visit Mawphlang sacred forest, Mawphlang Dam, and You will have lunch en route. After a relaxing day spent in bountiful nature, you will return to Shillong for an overnight stay and relaxation .
Safari and over night stay at Kaziranga
Start your journey from Guwahati or Shillong in the morning to Emangre village. It will be a long journey of 7- 8 hours covering a distance of around 250 km. After reaching Wari Chora check-in to the homestay or campsite. Accommodation in Emangre is basic but you will get the raw touch of village life. Overnight stay in Emangre village.
Early morning start towards wari chora. One camper vehicle will take you the nearest location from where there will be a trek of around 1 hour to reach the stream side. Once you reach there enjoy the unforgettable beauty of Wari chora. After having a good time travel back to homestay and take a rest.
Today after breakfast, go to visit Siju caves. Explore the cave and then travel to Fish Sanctuary. Jadisil Fish Sanctuary is the result of the Meghalaya state government’s effort to revive the declining population of the local fish species. After spending a good time in the sanctuary, travel back to Guwahati.
